Cell-enhanced reconstruction uses adipose fat that is a rich source of stem and regenerative cells. These stem cells are not the controversial embryonic stem cells. This new procedure uses a special process to ensure that the transplanted cells will live and adapt to the transplantation site (breasts).

After fat removal, the cells are transferred to the Stem Cell processing device which used to separate regenerative and stem cells from fat cells. The regenerative and stem cells are then washed, concentrated, and enzyme activated. The activated stem cell mixture is then combined with the fat cells and then injected into fat that is already present in the breast where it fills in and replaces tissue volume.

The injection of the fat along with the stem cells results in a permanent 250cc to 500cc overall breast size increase, allowing for a 1 or 2 bra cup size increase. A pressure splint is then used after the procedure to ensure that the fat remains in place and assists in promoting regeneration of the transferred fat and stem cells.

There are several advantages to Natural Breast Augmentation. Saline or silicone implants which are considered the standard for cosmetic breast augmentation and reconstruction show complication rates to be as high as 25% with a re-operation rate of 100% at 10 years. Additionally, implants can obscure 15-50% of normal breast tissue on screening mammography making early detection or follow-up of cancer difficult.

Fatty tissue does not exhibit reactive inflammation, rejection, or autoimmune disease. Natural Breast Augmentation results in excellent cosmetic result including a natural feel to the breasts that is reproducible and permanent. Even in the hands of a skilled surgeon, implants can have an artificial look or feel. The health risks of conventional implant surgery are also a concern. The human body forms a capsule around foreign objects including synthetic breast implants; a painful and disfiguring condition called capsular contracture occurs when this lining then shrinks and squeezes the implant. Another potential risk is rupture or deflation of the implant, requiring further surgery to repair or replace the implant. Implants can also migrate over time leading to unacceptable cosmetic results such as “bottoming out” or symmastia and again necessitating surgical repair. Nor are aesthetic concerns the only potential drawback of synthetic implants. Changes in breast sensitivity are a relatively common side effect; these changes may be permanent and there is no way to predict which patients will experience them or whether any changes they do experience will last. Large implants can interfere with mammogram results and potentially delay diagnosis of breast cancer. Folds in saline implants can cause tissue erosion or thinning of the skin to the point that the fold is palpable or even visible.

Natural augmentation uses the body’s own tissue to enhance the breasts, so there is no foreign object to rupture, shift under the skin, or cause a scar capsule to form. As the procedure requires no incisions, there are no visible scars. Fat can be molded and shaped in a way that pre-formed, pre-sized implants cannot, giving a more natural and aesthetically pleasing post-operative appearance. The procedure does not conceal any part of the breast during mammography as the added tissue is a part of the client’s own body. Natural augmentation can even be used in concert with pre-existing implants to give a softer, more natural appearance.

A surgeon skilled in this procedure will need to have a high level of competence in liposuction. The removed fat cells, generally discarded during liposuction, must be extracted carefully to avoid damaging or killing them. The cells are then placed in a specialized syringe and injected directly into the appropriate areas of the breast.

This procedure is highly effective and permanent in the hands of a qualified surgeon. Artificial implants have a somewhat murky safety record. Even when they perform as intended, implants must be removed and replace periodically. A patient’s own fat cells will not leak back out into surrounding areas to create future health problems, nor should the procedure have to be repeated.

Natural breast augmentation is appropriate in a number of scenarios other than general enhancement. While human bodies are rarely perfectly symmetrical, having one breast noticeably larger than its mate can be embarrassing and inconvenient. Using this procedure, a smaller breast can be augmented to more closely match its sister. A Less Severe Alternative

Further, because this fat has to be protected by stem cells, the procedure is also referred to as stem cell augmentation. This cosmetic alternative to breast augmentation is less severe because, as in the case of breast implants, no incision has to be made. This means that a woman can recover from the surgery more quickly.

Avoiding the Risks

Along with a speedy recovery, a woman who opts for the safety of natural breast augmentation avoids the risks which come with breast implants. Fat that is taken from the woman’s body is her natural fat, for example, and therefore belongs there. This is hardly the case with breast implants. A Permanent Solution
